Founded in 1907, Remuera Rackets Club has earned a reputation as one of New Zealand's foremost sporting and leisure facilities.

Our extensive venue features 9 tennis courts, 6 squash courts, a spacious fitness center, a padel court, an outdoor swimming pool, private saunas, and a well-stocked club bar and lounge. We invite the general public to join us on open days or to take a tour of the club with one of our experienced staff members. Private events are also welcome through prior booking of one or more of our amenities, with packages available to cater to a variety of needs.

Fantastic experience: I love how Remuera Rackets still feels the same as when I was playing here over 20 years ago. It has that familiar atmosphere, but the facilities are still in great condition. The Racket Coaching team is fantastic — lessons are really well tailored to kids and made fun, which is so important. Highly recommend! Hopefully it sparks a lifelong love of tennis for my children, just like it did for me.

Fantastic experience: Centrally located friendly and social club offering tennis, squash, padel and pickleball sports. Also contains a full gym, a pool, sauna and other facilities. The bar is open in the evenings and weekday afternoons offering views of the outdoor courts. On-site shop supports all sports. Highly recommend visiting and joining this club!

Fantastic experience: I've had an incredible time at this squash facility for the past 2.5 months. Leon, the Racketmaster, is not only skilled but also incredibly kind. Natali, the Squash Trainer, made every session enjoyable with her friendly approach. It truly felt like being part of a welcoming family. Looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend this place for anyone passionate about squash.

Fantastic experience: Great club with tennis, squash, gym casual pool and sauna. Genuine club atmosphere and great fees. Location is really handy on the edge of Newmarket. Haven't struggled with car park either.

Positive experience: Very reasonably priced, $58 a month includes tennis courts, somewhat run down gym (though is comparable in facilties to a jetts or anytime fitness), sauna and pool. Has an easy to use online courts booking system and social events including a table tennis tournament. Upstairs is a very reasonably priced bar and restaurant.
